Ahead of their appearance on British TV show "Top Of The Pops", Motörhead released the title track from the album "Bomber" as a single in the UK in late November 1979, the first song Lemmy wrote about war. Swiss extreme metal band Celtic Frost was not so extreme on their third studio album "Cold Lake" released in late 1988, and the band would prefer not to talk about it. In fact, the LP has not been available to purchase for some time. Release information source: Kerrang! - September 24, 1988.
Remembering Quiet Riot singer Kevin DuBrow, who was found dead at his home in Las Vegas on November 25, 2007. The coroner's report determined he had passed away six days earlier. Kevin was 52. R.I.P.
November 25, 1991: In North America, Skid Row released "Wasted Time" as the third single from the now platinum selling album "Slave To The Grind". Sebastian Bach has said the song was written about the spiraling effect of drug use on his friend, original Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler. November 25, 1984: With special guest Queensrÿche, KISS brought the "Animalize" Tour to the Spectrum in Philadelphia. Opening with "Detroit Rock City", "Cold Gin" and "Creatures Of The Night", tickets were only $11.50.
November 25, 1986: Touring in support of his latest album "Trilogy" that featured Mark Boals on vocals, Yngwie Malmsteen played Nashville’s Municipal Auditorium with singer Jeff Scott Soto from Yngwie's first two albums. They opened with "I'll See The Light Tonight", originally recorded with Soto on vocals, but it was Boals in the music video 🤔🙃
November 25, 1986: With special guest W.A.S.P., Iron Maiden brought the "Somewhere In Time" Tour to Essen, Germany. The final track on the album, "The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner", was performed on opening night in Belgrade for the first time, but after that never again appeared on a Maiden setlist.
November 25, 1990: With new drummer Scott Travis from Racer X, who joined the band in 1989 after previous drummer Dave Holland's departure that same year and is now the band's longest serving drummer, Judas Priest brought the "Painkiller" Tour to Omaha Civic Auditorium in Omaha, Nebraska with Megadeth and Testament.
